Hi Everyone! I’m Jerry and I came to SCARS because a kind lady took me in when she determined I was a stray after I wandered into her yard and didn’t leave so she started feeding me and caring for me, she also noticed something wasn’t quite right with my front leg and took me to the vet. The vet thinks my angular limb deformity is a birth defect and will require a costly surgery so the kind lady surrendered me into the care of the great people at SCARS. My foster mom says I love to cuddle and am comfortable in a home and am a typical puppy despite my deformity, you know one of those sweeties who plays quietly with his toys and climbs over the resident dog, etc. Although it may look painful I am not in any pain.
Although I won’t be having surgery for a few more weeks I am available for adoption now.
