Each certificate, as shown, will be mailed to you tucked into a envelope ready for giving. For all certificates valued over $20.00, SCARS will also provide you with a tax receipt. 	Buy a Toy and Playtime: $10.00 Toys help busy minds keep occupied! Some help dogs strengthen and keep their teeth clean and some help teach retrieval training.
	Buy Parasite Treatment: $15.00 Our intakes are always full of mites, ﬂeas, lice or worms. These parasites can live on the skin or inside the body where they can affect many organs and create illness.
	Buy a Leash and 1 Hour Leash Training: $20.00 One of the most important, basic and yet overlooked skills a dog should have is walking properly on a leash.
	Buy a Microchip: $30.00 When they’re lost they can’t pick up the phone! Microchip identification can save their lives and bring them home safely.
	Buy a First Aid Kit: $30.00 First Aid and Care Kits are needed for rescuers in the field in case emergency pet first aid is required.
	Buy Vaccinations: $45.00 Vaccinations help protect a pet from a number of potentially serious and even fatal diseases.
	Buy a Litter Box and Litter $50.00 We are finding more and more cats and kittens in our care. Please help keep their homes fresh and clean.
	Buy a Bed: $120.00 We often find senior pets in our care. If they sleep on a hard floor, or in an area where cold draughts exist it can compound problems such as joint pain, arthritis and hip problems.
	Buy a Neuter $150.00 Neutering prevents uncontrolled breeding, eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the instances of prostate disease.

	Buy a Dog House: $500.00 Most of our intakes have never known what shelter is. We provide them with warm heated dog houses during the cold months until they move on to their indoor foster or permanent home.
	Buy an Outdoor Dog Run $1000.00 Most of our intakes arrive with medical issues. Dog runs are our only means of quarantine and house many animals in our care.
